LaQuana “Mz. Q” Dawkins is the founder of Q’Defined Money, Inc and is dedicated to teaching financial education to youth.  She is a graduate of the University of North Florida with a double major in Finance and Financial Planning and Services, as well as a licensed Insurance Agent in the state of Florida. Her career began in accounting where she worked as a Corporate Accountant for over 20 years.  After earning her degrees, she transitioned into the Financial Services industry becoming a Financial Services Professional.  LaQuana served as the President of the University of North Florida Financial Planning Association student chapter, and also volunteered as a certified Financial Educator for the United Way Real Sense program.  Her passion for finance started early, and growing up in a single parent home her mother taught her the value of a dollar.  As a Financial Services Professional and Financial Educator, she discovered her true purpose was educating others on personal money management.  She went on to teach fulltime in the classroom, and the connection she made with her students gave birth to Q’Defined Money.  By combining her love for financial education and her love for teaching young people, her hope is to ensure they have a lifetime of success by giving them a good head start.
