Classes & Courses
Virtual classes are available for ages 8-17 as well as young adults 18-25, for life after high school. We take a deep dive beyond the basics of personal finance with a strong emphasis on behavior. Classes are designed to spark critical thinking through coursework, interactive discussions, financial simulations, games and real world scenarios.
Grade school curriculum is aligned with the Jump$tart Coalition, National Standards of Personal Finance Education and Common Core standards.
Young Adult curriculum focuses on practical concepts on topics such as setting goals, making financial decisions and living on your own.
1-on-1 classes are available upon request.
With the infusion of music, I look to foster a higher level of learning, while connecting money to their world.
MoneyVibe
This course will teach students how learned money behaviors can impact financial decisions now and later. Students will uncover their money habititude personality, and learn ways to adopt gamechanging behaviors.
Money & Black Wealth
Did you know that everything you don’t know is something you can learn? What does your child know about the history of money? Is your child curious about the history of Black Wealth? Are you curious about the history of Black Wealth? This course will explore the history of money from the barter age to modern day CashApp. We will also explore black wealth from ancient dynasties to decades of black wealth building and learn how Black Americans thrived economically.
Personal Finance
This course provides students with concepts on topics such as consumer spending, saving, investing, risk management and preparation for success. The interactive coursework and activities will engage students to think reasonably and rationally to ensure they make the best decisions to provide lifelong sustainability for the life they want.
